Following a roof-raising, triumphant Ravinia debut opening for Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw, feel-good rocker Andy Grammerwill return to Ravinia Festival on August 11 and 12 to open two sold-out concerts by Mat Kearney and Train. Grammer, a Billboardmagazine "artist to watch," made the watching easy during his Ravinia set when he took flight from the pavilion stage to run around the lawn interacting with fans who flocked to him. Best known for his hits "Fine by Me" and the MTV Award-winning "Keep Your Head Up," the singer/songwriter says, "My ultimate goal is to try to be real. It just so happens that I’m usually more happy than sad when I’m writing. And in general I think that life is pretty great, and it's cool to be here, so that comes through in my music. I don't have a dismal outlook, but I don’t aim to make positive music. It’s just what I am."
