Sitar Virtuoso, Ravi Shankar Dies at 92

Ravi Shankar has been introducing western audiences to traditional Indian ragas for eight decades. He has worked with such artists as George Harrison, John Contrane, and David Crosby; and is also the father of nine-time Grammy award winning jazz artist Norah Jones. Though a gap still persists between the sitar and western audiences, Shankar left a lasting impact on music wordwide.
