In 2012 Ravinia launched an El Sistema orchestra for kids in grades 4–6 at Circle Rock Charter School in Austin, an underserved neighborhood on Chicago's West Side. Student excitement and interest was so high that a second orchestra was launched a year later. Watch this video to see how music can transform an entire community.
